As a partner at Odelson & Sterk, Mark Sterk continues to provide experienced counsel to municipalities and other public bodies. Having graduated from Brother Rice High School, Western Illinois University and Northern Illinois University's College of Law, his reputation for legal excellence over more than 30 years later is unmatched. Mr. Sterk’s practice includes collective bargaining, land acquisition, public finance, zoning and litigation. He presently serves as lead counsel to the municipalities of Oak Brook, Orland Hills, Northlake and Robbins.

Mr. Sterk is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.

He is the former director of the Historic Pullman Foundation and has served as the foundation's attorney since 1985. Mr. Sterk is active in fund-raising efforts for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. His other interests include following University of Illinois athletics.
